Fun fact about me: I received my master of business administration (MBA) and worked for many years in the financial services industries. I enjoy sharing this knowledge with children through my writing! As an author of this new nonfiction STEM and financial literacy series for grades 2-5, I’m proud of the end product and happy it’s out in the world! The Child's World makes beautiful books for libraries and classrooms, and working with their team was wonderful.

Many financial topics can be tricky to understand, but a firm grasp of the basics is necessary to make smart financial decisions--at any age! This series explores various money-related topics, from the creation of currency to budgeting to starting a business. Each book begins with an explanation of a financial concept or practice, including its history and how it applies to everyday life. The series also examines the benefits and disadvantages of certain financial practices. Vivid images and a helpful diagram aid in comprehension. Additional features include a table of contents, informative sidebars and captions, a phonetic glossary, fast facts, critical-thinking questions, an index, sources for further research, and an introduction to the author.
